Globe In // a Kitchen Box Review

Globe In // Review
Over the years I have had my fair share of subscriptions boxes varying from vegan foods, designer clothing to a box full of doggy toys + treats for our Pup Anna. Some of these subscriptions have come and gone, I am currently in love with Happy Mail from A Beautiful Mess, there is nothing better than recieving a package curated just for you in the mail // it's like Christmas year round!

When Globe In contacted me to try one of their Subscriptions is was an easy YEAH, of course I will! After all, their mission and message was pretty fantastic: Support artisans and farmers from all walks of life with an emphasis on people in the developing world.

Before I even opened the Box I was in love with just the box design itself, plus it displayed one of my favorite quotes for all to see: "People who love to eat are always the best people" - Julia Child.

They totally had me with that quote.

Let's talk about what is inside the box. When you open your package there is a beautiful Palm Leaf Basket that holds all your goodies // The GlobeIn Signature Handwoven Basket is made using the traditional “tenate” design. Handcrafted from discarded palm leaves by indigenous Oaxacan artisans and colored using natural, water-borne paints, each basket can take up to six hours to weave. These decorative and whimsical baskets make beautiful home storage options, lending a pop of color and handcrafted warmth to children’s bedrooms, bathroom storage, kitchen countertops or as gift packaging for loved ones.

Inside the basket I received Inka Salt,  Ground Vanilla (that smells so amazing!), packets of coconut sugar, a Mini Tagine that is perfect for salt, Coffee and a Kitchen Towel.

With each box you receive a card // booklet that provides a bit of background on the people that made each item in your basket.
